Ariel Cabrera Foix –
A fantastic field guide with beautiful illustrations! It was my first bird book and I loved it, used and abused it in the field for 10 years now. Perfect size for carrying while birding too! Although some of the maps are a little outdated (the only “negative” thing I can say, that it’s not the book’s fault), the information displayed is very precise and helpful to identify Chilean birds. Even having 3 Birds of Chile field guides, I can absolutely recommend this one even today!
